This morning I answered an email from a reader who was looking for a suggestion for an alternative to using Google Forms for letting students book time in the library during the school day. Since the school was already using Google Workspace, my first suggestion was to try using Google Calendar with the appointment slots feature enabled.Â

Applications for Education
In the case of the person who emailed me this morning, she wanted to give students an easy way to book time in the library and have a confirmation of that reservation. Google Calendar with appointment slots can also be used to schedule meetings with students for tutoring sessions. It’s also a great tool for organizing parent-teacher conferences.
