Yesterday morning at ISTE Live I met Lauren Enders. Lauren is a well-known presenter in the field of AAC (augmentative and alternative communication). We chatted for a good twenty minutes or more about many things including how she’s using Canva as an AAC tool. In fact, she gave me permission to share the recording of her recent presentation on that topic. The thing that impressed me the most about Lauren’s presentation was not the graphics, although they are fantastic, what impressed the most was the application of Canva as an AAC tool. That’s something that I haven’t seen anyone else do or advocate for doing.
